Serving the Denver Metro Area
I began my career as a respiratory therapist in 1978. My love of the biological sciences, my desire to further my education, and my devotion for working with people prompted me to earn my Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. I graduated from Colorado University in 1996. My passion for the movement arts drove me to pursue intensive training in ballet, Pilates and martial arts, all of which I continue to enjoy today.
I discovered The Feldenkrais Method® in 2000, and immediately knew that I wanted to become a practitioner to add to my list of education and skills. I began my training in February of 2006 and graduated in November of 2009. The Feldenkrais Method® changed my life. It lengthened my legs, strengthened my spine, loosened my hips and opened my heart. It made everything easier, and effortless. Feldenkrais® also helped me get rid of chronic headaches, neck pain, stress and fatigue.
I integrate my education, experience, knowledge and expertise to empower my clients to heal themselves, through movement. As a graduate of many painful conditions, I personally understand the frustration of being told that the goal was to “manage” the pain rather than heal from it.
It is my firm belief, as well as my personal and professional experience, that many painful conditions, anxiety, stress and fatigue, can significantly improve through movement. I treat each individual with the dignity, respect and individual attention that they deserve. I would consider it an honor and a privilege to help you achieve your personal goals, realize your full potential, and help you experience the healing power of movement.
